JC ERP Insight From The Inside Request a Consultation
About the practice

We came from the client side of the desk

JC ERP was built by people who came out of operations rather than out of consulting, and that is the whole idea behind the firm. The best ERP advice comes from people who have had to live with the consequences of it.

The path here started on the shop floor running machines, clocking time to jobs, working alongside floor workers and reporting to shift supervisors. That is where you see system failures and how they impact manufacturing in real time. That experience offers a different perspective from a consultant who has no manufacturing background, or who has only ever seen the plant from an office.

From there it moved into implementing Epicor from the inside, as the customer rather than the vendor, and then into advising other manufacturers going through the same thing.

That background shows up in the work. We cover both sides of the platform. Functional work across quote to cash, procure to pay, inventory, costing, quality, and the general ledger. Technical work across business process management, business activity queries, Epicor Functions, SSRS, App Studio, and data migration. Carrying both means fewer handoffs, and it means the person configuring a screen understands the job the person using it has to do.

Insight From The Inside is not a slogan we picked because it sounded good. It is the reason to hire this firm instead of a bigger one. You are getting the perspective of the people who had to run the system, applied to yours.

Industries

Where that experience was earned

Every one of these environments runs Epicor differently, and the difference is usually the reason a standard configuration does not fit.

⚙

Machine shops

High mix, short run, and job costing that has to be right the first time.

✎

Engineer to order

Design inside the job, revision control, and quoting work that does not exist yet.

▤

Customize to order

Option driven products, configured methods, and pricing that follows the choices.

◉

Plastic injection molding

Tooling, cavitation, scrap and yield, and machine centered scheduling.

∿

Cable and harness assembly

Deep bills of material, cut lists, and labor tracking across many small operations.

⇄

Packaging automation

Equipment builds, long lead components, and service after the machine ships.

✈

Aerospace and defense

Traceability, certifications, and documentation that has to survive an audit.

How we operate

Four commitments on every engagement

✓

You get a straight answer

If the fix is a training issue and not a project, we will say so and lose the revenue. If a request is going to create a maintenance problem two years out, you will hear that before we build it. Nobody benefits from a consultant who only says yes.

✎

The work is documented

Every customization, configuration change, and query ships with documentation your team can read. The goal is a system you can support without calling us, and a clear record for whoever inherits it later.

⚑

Scope and price are set up front

You approve deliverables, an estimated hour range, and a rate before work starts. If scope grows, that conversation happens before the hours are spent rather than on the invoice.

The same people stay on your account

The consultant on the discovery call is on the delivery team. No account manager layer, no rotating bench, and nobody learning your business a second time.

Areas of depth

Where the experience actually sits

Foundational coverage across the Kinetic platform with genuine depth in three areas.

⇄

End to end process

Quote to cash and procure to pay as complete chains, including planning, scheduling, and the handoffs between departments where work usually stalls.

⚙

Epicor development

C# directives, Epicor Functions, REST, SSRS, App Studio, and cleaning up customizations that were never documented.

☰

Manufacturing operations

Shop floor execution, job costing accuracy, and the operational habits that make ERP data reliable, learned by doing the work rather than reading about it.

Let us look at your system and meet your people

A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether there is a real engagement here. We are not here to sell solutions that won't fix your problem.
