1. Who we are
This website is operated by Jagusch Consulting LLC, a limited liability company doing business as JC ERP. In this policy, the words we, us, and our refer to Jagusch Consulting LLC. The words you and your refer to the person visiting this website or submitting information through it.
We are an independent consulting practice. There is no marketing department and no data broker relationship behind this site. Information you send us is read by the people who answer inquiries and is used for that purpose only.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit the consultation request form, we collect the information you enter in it.
| What we collect | Required | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | To address you correctly in a reply |
| Email address | Yes | To send you a response |
| Message | Yes | To understand what you are asking about |
| Company name | No | To understand your business context |
| Phone number | No | To call you if that is faster than email |
| Area of interest and Epicor version | No | To prepare a more useful reply |
The form also records the internet protocol address and browser identification of the device that submitted it. That is a spam control measure and is not used to build a profile of you.
You may also contact us by email, phone, or a professional network. Anything you send that way is handled the same as a form submission.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server information for every request, including internet protocol address, date and time, the page requested, referring page, and browser type. These logs support security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
- Hosting traffic statistics. Our hosting provider produces aggregate visitor statistics from those logs, such as page views and referring sources. These reports are summaries and are not tied to a named person by us.
- Analytics cookies. If you accept the notice shown on your first visit, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. See section 4.
Information we do not collect
This site does not process payments, so we never collect payment card or bank account details through it. We do not ask for government identification numbers, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information such as health, biometric, or precise location data.
Please do not send credentials. Do not include passwords, license keys, database connection strings, or Epicor user accounts in the contact form. If we need access to a system during an engagement, that is arranged separately under a signed agreement.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation
- To prepare proposals, statements of work, and estimates you request
- To deliver and support services under an agreement with you or your employer
- To send occasional practice updates, but only to people who asked for them
- To keep the website working, secure, and free of automated abuse
- To understand in aggregate which pages visitors find useful
- To meet our legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision making, profiling, behavioral advertising, or training artificial intelligence models.
4. Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses two kinds.
- Preference storage. When you answer the analytics notice, your choice is stored in your own browser so we do not ask again. That value never leaves your device and is not readable by us.
- Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure page views and traffic sources. These load only after you select Accept on the notice. If you select Decline, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Where Google Analytics is enabled, we turn on internet protocol address anonymization. Google processes this data as our service provider and its own practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can also install the Google Analytics opt out browser add on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we load no analytics until you accept, and because we never sell or share personal information for advertising, a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not change how this site behaves. Selecting Decline produces the same result.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that operate parts of this business, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. Current categories are listed below.
| Category | Purpose |

| Email and mailing list tools | Sending replies and any updates you asked for |

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case the receiving party remains bound by this policy.
We do not share your information with other clients, and we do not disclose that a specific company contacted us.
6. We do not sell your information
Jagusch Consulting LLC does not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy. We receive no payment of any kind for information submitted through this site.
7. How long we keep information
| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Inquiries that do not become engagements | Up to twenty four months, then deleted |

You may ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 9.
8. How we protect information
- The entire site is served over an encrypted connection
- Form submissions are validated and filtered for automated abuse before delivery
- Submissions are delivered to a password protected mailbox with multi factor authentication
- Access to stored inquiries is limited to the people who need it to answer you
- Devices used for this business are encrypted and access controlled
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and any required authority as the law directs.
9. Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to do any of the following, and we will honor the request regardless of whether a specific state law requires it.
- Know. Ask what personal information we hold about you and where it came from
- Access. Request a copy of that information
- Correct. Ask us to fix information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete. Ask us to erase your information, subject to records we must keep by law
- Opt out. Unsubscribe from any message we send, using the link in it or by writing to us
- Withdraw analytics consent. Clear your browser storage for this site and select Decline when the notice reappears
To make a request, email inquiries@jc-erp.net with the subject line Privacy Request. We will confirm receipt promptly and respond within forty five days. If we need more time, we will tell you why before that period ends. We may need to verify your identity, which usually means replying from the email address the information is associated with. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
We will never deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
10. California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the rights described in section 9, and we treat them as available to every visitor.
For the twelve months preceding the effective date of this policy, we collected the categories of personal information listed below, from the sources described in section 2, for the purposes described in section 3, and disclosed them only to the service provider categories listed in section 5.
- Identifiers, such as name, email address, phone number, and internet protocol address
- Commercial information, such as the services you asked about
- Internet activity, such as pages viewed on this site
- Professional information, such as your company and your role in an ERP project
We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined by California law, we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those disclosed here. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing written permission that we can verify with you directly.
California Civil Code section 1798.83 also permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We make no such disclosures.
11. Client system data
This policy covers the website. It does not govern data we encounter inside a client system during a consulting engagement.
When we work in your Epicor environment, any business data we access remains yours. We act as a service provider on your instructions, we use that data only to perform the agreed work, we do not copy it beyond what the work requires, and we return or destroy working copies when the engagement ends. Those obligations are set out in the consulting agreement, along with confidentiality terms and any additional data protection requirements your organization needs. Where the two documents differ, the signed agreement controls.
12. Children
This is a business to business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Links to other sites
This site links to third party resources such as software vendor documentation. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review the policy of any site you visit from here.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes or as the law requires. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle information you already gave us, we will notify you at the email address we have for you.
15. How to reach us
Questions, requests, and complaints all go to the same place.
